Software with roots.

Serbal Dev is a software development studio. We design, build and maintain web and mobile apps, games and AI voice assistants.

Tell us about your projectOur story

From root to fruit

Like the tree we are named after, we have grown slowly and on hard ground.

  1. 2011The root

We started in technical support and Linux systems: servers, networks and night shifts. That is where we learned what really matters in software: that it works on Monday at eight in the morning.

  2. 2018The trunk

From support we moved to automation. We built our own tools to watch servers, detect changes in infrastructure and reconstruct what happened after an outage; some are still published as open source.

  3. 2025Serbal Dev is born

Named after a mountain tree. Serbal is Spanish for the rowan, which grows in poor soil, withstands the cold and bears fruit when others no longer do. That is how we want our software: tough, easy to maintain and made to last.

  4. 2026The first fruit

The three berries in the logo are our first products of our own: a voice assistant for businesses, a suite of self-hosted apps and an online card game. More are coming.

What we do

Complete projects, from the first conversation to maintenance. The people who listen to you are the people who build it.

  • Web applications

Portals, back offices and custom tools, with their server, their database and their backups.

  • Mobile apps and games

For Android, Windows and Linux, from the logic to the last screen.

  • AI voice assistants

Agents that answer your business's phone in Spanish and Basque, with the information you approve.

  • Systems and deployment

Linux servers, automation and monitoring. What we deliver keeps working after we deliver it.

How we work

  • Understand firstBefore we write code, we write the project's rules and agree them with you.
  • Tests from day oneEvery change passes its tests before it reaches production.
  • Your data stays with youSelf-hosted where possible, encrypted where needed.
  • Plain statusImplemented, tested and released are different things, and you will always know where each part stands.

Some of our products

Products of our own that we are working on right now.

AI voice assistant

Answers the phone for bars, restaurants, shops and practices in Spanish and Basque: books into the agenda, takes messages and orders and alerts the business by email, Telegram, SMS or WhatsApp.
